In this mode, you can edit a stage already made (like explore AFTER you got a medal on it) or make your own stage. You cannot get a medal when you edit a stage. You can change the rules (time, # of throws), choose which toy you use (bowling ball, laser, baseball), and use the props that you have unlocked from adventure mode.
Paint: this tool is used to give blocks certain properties, like you can turn blocks into fragile glass, or turn them into ice.
Height tool: this tool lets you rise the 'floor' so you can place blocks in mid-air.
Sets: when this is opened, it opens a list of pre-made objects (castle wall, dominoes, and letters of the alphabet).
